Harly Barfdizzle

*Sweeping Orchestral Music Score*

Ah, it’s been over a year since we started this beautiful journey into mediocrity and struggle together, with a total of 22 posts (exclusive) over 12 months. Aimless and wandering, potential and pot-headed-ness. Art and artsy fartsy… and Bee-Nizzle of course.

As well as the blog’s anniversary of creation, it was also my happy vaginal-escape day, on the 6th of April, so this blog and I are linked in that sense too. As a present, a far off relative sent word through unoffical channels to delivery me a great digital camera. With it I plan to continue taking photos like these:

And this is a particularly good photo that’ll make one paws for thought vishly

Well, I haven’t got around to doing the things I said I would because I am fail personified, but I would really like to do a comprehensive review of Rideback, for the Anime-ite who doesn’t get to see enough Japanime. I will get around to it eventually I hope.

I LOVE LITTLE GIRLS THEY MAKE ME FEEL SO BAD…

Don’t be arty to the party

“Shoji Kawamori (Macross, Escaflowne, Aquarion) is collaborating with France’s Thomas Romain (Oban Star-Racers) in this Satelight project that combines robots with basketball. Kawamori is developing this project as a deliberately lighthearted counterbalance to the more serious work he has done. Romain developed the conceptual designs for the mecha and the art direction. The series will premiere on Japan’s MBS television station and its affiliates in April.”

Well hoo-wii!! Yes, something lighthearted, fun and quirky to get into this season! It’s been a while since I’ve watched a series like this, and the last one I can think of that stuck with me was Diebuster/Gunbuster 2.

This is what we love about Japanese animation, oodles and oodles of noodles and noodles of style. Style that we wretched, western devour’ers wish we could exude for our lives. If only life had a sprinkling more of effortless style… Heh. Effortless style actually takes too much effort, uniquely to look effortless, bull fucking shit.

The soundtrack to this series looks set to be awesome with a hip-pop feel and lots of breakdancing mechas… How is breakdancing mechs not EPIC WIN?

I’ll be doing a review/analysis of Rideback over or after the weekend.

Decrepit breath, vile in its stench
A world in decay
Transgressor is as one
